Suffering

Job 36:15 He delivers the afflicted by their affliction, and opens their ear by adversity.

Is 48:10 See, I have refined you, but not like silver; I have tested you in the furnace of adversity.

Rom 5:3-4 And not only that, but wed also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,

Rom 8:18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.

Rom 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.
