WRESTLING MATCH

Satan has been wrestling with God for quite a while. He wrestled for supreme power, but was thrown to the mat (earth). He wrestled for rule of the earth, and, by deceiving mankind, won that one. Working through those who would not serve God, he wrests the scriptures (2 Pet. 3:16). He wrestled with God's Son after His baptism, and lost all three rounds. But Satan really thought he had God at the crucifixion. And it looked pretty bad. The referee was down on the mat--he counted "one...two..." and up from the grave He arose! And Satan will eventually lose the final round, after the millennium.
